BOOK REVIEW

Starting with the best part, I really loved the description of the characters, the places and the surrounding areas. I feel as if I know the people in real life in person.

The story opens with the travelling on railways and buses from cities to villages ... I found the initial scenes slightly similar to the movie Chalo Dilli starring Vinay Pathak and Lara. At first, I felt maybe it has a similar story. But I was completely wrong. The way this story takes twists and turns at various plots is mind-boggling. It is a romance mystery along with lots of entertainment. Not only it has offered entertainment and tears of joy and sorrow but has also taught some life lessons that can be cherished forever. The surprise element is going to amaze you. It is surely a delight to the brain and heart at the same time.

It is light yet complicated. The story of a girl Saaya who will prove that nobody is venomous by nature, it is the upbringing that matters. With the right company and good atmosphere, people do change. A lot!

With the absolutely amazing blend of modernisation and tradition, the book guarantees you a bucket full of emotions. How the good deeds of parents are a blessing to a child while a bad influencing parent creates revenge and hatred.

The love, romance, sweetness, everything with a delicate royal touch and a good comic timing works wonders. Even a hopeless romantic after getting hurt can turn the tables down but never stops loving...Told you its complicated and all in a good way...Amidst the authentic culture of Rajasthan how the love and soul of two hearts get connected.

Even though it is the author's debut book, I can assure you it is an amazing piece of Literature.

I thoroughly enjoyed and loved the story, characters and sensations. I would very much recommend the book.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency based on blockchain database technology. Bitcoins were first released by Satoshi Nakamoto ( name used by an unknown person or a group ) from Japan in January 2009.

What is Bitcoin?

It is a cryptocurrency (a type of a digital currency) that uses encryption techniques to regulate the generation of currency and further verifying the funds' transfer and its independent operations. It can be sold,  purchased or can even be treated as a commodity.

Bitcoins can be instantly bought using credit/debit cards via SpectroCoin  , Coinbase  , Kraken  and other similar exchanges. It is usually fast and within 10 minutes up to 50$ of Bitcoins can be bought. But to acquire a higher amount that is up to 200$ to 500$ you need to prove yourself to be a reliable customer within 4 to 7 days respectively.
Larger amounts can be bought by using local currencies like US Dollar or Euro or INR.

(ZebPay   is one such online website in India from where it can be purchased )

After the purchase, it can be easily transferred to your wallet. Thereafter,  Bitcoin Debit Cards can be acquired from Bitcoin exchanges for online and offline purchases. The added advantage here to customers is that complete ID verification is not required if they stay within lower debit card limits.
Thus, lesser transparency and more anonymity.

Lost her forever

It happened two years ago I was suffering from stomach tuberculosis. After taking my evening doses I was sitting and talking to my parents about my upcoming exams next month. I was worried whether it was a good idea to go for it in such a pain or not. Then suddenly, I received a call from an old best friend, Kriti. She had come to know about my illness through some common friend. Truly she was concerned about my health. We took turn by turn to ask each other's whereabouts and we had so much to talk about, we were friends from the time we started our college I still remember how we used to talk all the time, study together it sure was fun. Then came our second level exam of Chartered Accountancy. Unfortunately, even though I was a bright student, I couldn't clear. But Kriti cleared the exam in the first attempt. Of course, I was sad but I was truly very happy for her. Then lives changed a little as again I got busy with studies, she was busy with her office. Now, we talked really less. It was nothing like before, things had changed completely. She wished me luck before the exams. As soon as my exams got over I called her up so that we can catch up.

Her landline number was not reachable and she was not answering her mobile phone. After a few days, I tried again but I realized she was ignoring me. I was all sad for many days.
Today getting a call from her was really surprising but I didn't ask her about that old stuff. Somehow I felt it was not right. When I asked her how are her family members doing, she said her grandmother expired the previous day. I was really sorry to hear that. I was trying to console her but then she said something which was shocking; She said " I handled things well when my mother left for heaven, grandmother was still very old" I will manage.
Kriti faced the biggest agony of her life all alone. There was complete silence in my mind, in my room. " hello Ushi, you there, please don't worry it was two years back and I am totally fine now."
I felt as if I am possibly the worst person on this earth. I couldn't utter a word on that day.

Love.exe by Manju Nambiar...Best romantic book release of the week !!

LOVE.EXE

Book Review

If you have a sweet tooth for reading...I have a gem for you this week.
Book Love.exe by the author Manju Nambiar.

If you are somebody who wants to know what real love looks like or somebody with a broken heart or a person who would like to read something simple, light yet fun and romantic at the same time...it is a right pick for you.

Starting with the book cover. It looks pretty, elegant and goes perfectly with the theme.

The tale is about a girl Nitya Balakrishnan who hails from Kerala. She was geeky, pretty, fun, an only child of her parents. Her mother is a TV serial lover, her dad is a typical Indian father who might speak less but always wants the best for his daughter. Her extended family filled with uncles and aunts are talkative but supportive.

About academics, she is an intelligent girl who secures a full scholarship for higher studies in the USA. Everything well planned and her wings ready to fly and live her dream life.

But destiny plays brutal and she falls into a trap of an arranged marriage...Whether or not she comes out of the miserable situation? How she finds her true love? Is she able to live her dream life?

Do read the book to find answers to these questions....!!

The book is written in a simple but enticing manner. It will leave no stones unturned to make you fall in love again. True love and romance is a dream for all. After reading it truly has left with the optimistic thought that it does exist even in today's world. You will know when it comes. With my faith grown stronger that everybody has their shares of Love.exe coming to their ways. The way old- school charms have been displayed has left me mesmerized. It has reignited my faith in love and destiny.

It also shows the love amongst family members and to what extent parents can go to keep their children happy...I am not sure whether I have done justice to the story. Maybe my words are not enough to describe what the book has offered me.I highly recommend a reading that you won't regret.

P.S. It can be a good gift for a friend/ lover.

Do not panic...

When you sit here in my class and look up to me for inspiration, motivational words seem to flow out of me. But once lectures get over I am not able to give you the boost and motivational energy that you need especially around your revision time or when the exam is around the corner.

So, here I am for the help as I ask you all to promise me that whenever you feel low, anxious or depressed; without wasting any of your crucial time you will read these words of mine that will serve you as a readily available remedy. Though it is a very small initiative I am hoping it will be fruitful for each one of my students. Over the years the vibes that my students have been getting from me has inspired them to achieve a lot and at the same time increasing my expectations.

Remember that you might feel as if you are lost in a jungle full of dangerous creatures and wild animals. Now, I won't lie to you. You will feel scared because things will be uncertain. But it is all natural, rather it is weird if you do not feel that. Any rational student should feel the danger but the key is to move on. Just keep walking till the end. Do not take a U-turn.

You could face difficult situations, tensions, any unexpected problems might come up. But make efficient use of whatever time you have in your hands. Use the right strategies to cope up the time dilemma. There is no point in worrying. You might even have to fight for long, you might be bleeding at times but keep walking without looking back.

Believe me, once you cross all the barriers and reach outside the jungle you will feel you are on the seventh sky. It will be the best experience. So instead of getting anxious, work smart.

Everybody has got different time frames, different situations, some better than you some worse than you. Do not ever compare yourself with others. Remember how you use to get upset with your parents when they did that while you were in school, so considering that do not do that to yourself. Live your life, study for yourself. There will always be uncertainties but face the challenge, enjoy the journey and try to do the best and God will do the rest.

Hope it helped!

Wish you all the best!

What to do if your future seems dark ?

If you have seen lots of failures like me you would know that no matter how worthy you were, it wouldn't mean a thing. All quotes like  "We learn from our mistakes", "Leave no stone unturned", "Where there is a will there is a way", "God helps those who help themselves"...etc etc seem to be of no use. You are all done and dusted.
While nothing is working in your favour millions of things run through your mind like the luck factor, astrology, your past, your future. At times you get wrong superstitious beliefs. But some of those beliefs which might have worked previously are not working this time. For example, you change your sleeping positions, wear better stones and gems for luck basically you try to turn the tables by changing the environment by turning your house upside down, into a better one.
We start wearing/keeping our "lucky" things handy. I am sorry; no, not working. Our poor brain is literally drained with lots of overthinking.

The worst happens now you are scared of dreaming because all your dreams have been shattered.

There is an immense amount of regret. When you no longer have any tears to shed. With no fault of your own, things are bitterly awful.
It is now the worst nightmares to even look at your future let alone about dreaming one.
The bigger question "What should be done in this situation?"

1. Don't go down that memory lane- Let go the past both good and bad. Reason for doing this is simply the horror it brings in. Always remember 'This too shall pass" doesn't always brings happiness or sadness in particular.

2. How will you do that?
Not telling you to dream because after a phase it is genuinely difficult. But do control your brain, everything is in there. Do not let it give up and pictures work best in this scenario. Start with something simple imagine; waterfalls, rainbows, forests, baby animals. It will make you happy even if only for a while.
Play with little kids and puppies and kittens. Help others in need, could be monetary/ non-monetary.
Talk to the elderly.
Doing some of these simple things will get your brain to function well. Who knows, you might even get back your lost confidence.

3. Stay strong and optimistic- Something can scare you only till the time you don't fight back. If your mind is showing you darkness in the future fill in the image with colours. And do this each time it happens. After practising this for a while it will stop haunting you.
Thinking in this manner will allow you a whole new perspective on the circumstances.

4. At the end of the day, it is a fact of life and we should be able to deal with it. Might sound cliche but yet again pay no heed to negatives. These are common experiments that still cry out for understanding.

5. Let life throw lemons at you, taste it and move on. After all, it is the surprise factor that runs the show. Everything cannot go right at all times. I know if you are a person like me you instantly thought, 'Its rubbish because in my life nothing goes right ever.'
Trust me had it been true you wouldn't have been born at all. Everybody has a purpose in life. About which, some might have known their's while others still need to look for it.

6. About right things at the right time
Our life is not a 2 hours movie that we can know the twists, turns, and happy ends. But I can explain your life surprises in a different fashion using an example of snakes and ladders.  We all have played it during our childhood days. And I am sure everyone remembers there are two types of players.
Type 1. He/she could easily throw 6 in the initial tries only. His/her piece used to start moving super quick while there is
Type 2. who couldn't get 6 even after several trials. And look none of us has ever counted the number of trials.

When the type 2 player is scared he is going to loose there comes a twist when super quick player 's counter landed on a snake and he slid down. By this time Type 2 could finally get 6 to get started. He gets really slow moves. Lands on different snakeheads too.
While the super quick player has reached 99 all set to win. He knows one strike and obviously, he will be the winner. On the other hand, the player like us is still struggling but suddenly he gets the biggest ladder count and reaches at 99 too, eventually gets a quick 1 to win the game.
This is how our life runs. Snakes ladders you have to face but who is going to be the winner is unpredictable.
There is a plot which leads to good things at the end with the right amount of patience. If you are reading this I am sure now you will never think of your future to be in dark rather replace the darkness with our dear board game.

I Reflected and I am not even sorry

Don't we all know what reflection is, it's simple and its everywhere. And no, I am not talking about "serious thoughts"  what I meant is the prevailing phenomenon of physics which when translated into everyday words, turns out to be "the casting back by a body or surface of light, heat or sound without absorbing it".

Surprisingly we do not know enough about it and most importantly we are not aware that each one of us has our own favorites. Seems bit unannounced but allow me to classify.

First comes the pretty one the mirror reflection for which the world is crazy about. Begins soon after you are out of bed, brushing, bathing getting ready, while trying different outfits in a shopping mall,  even while trying on new bags, before important kisses, ouch when you have that pimple, salon during a makeover, congratulating yourself on a good day and cheering up and motivating yourself on a not so good one.

Then comes the anxious type... when you leave the house doubtful and of course without an actual mirror.. please admit we do play a little peek-a-boo here wrist watch dials, pen flaps, inside rear views in a car, at times specs that are meant to show you the world clearly on the pretext of "cleaning the glasses " have helped you to glance at yourself.

The next one is crazy but aesthetic at the same time. while having a deep conversation you can find your reflection in the eyes of your pal. No wonder it is said beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. It lets you connect at another level altogether.

Another type is the reflection on water bodies That shimmering image of yourself can give you a lot to ponder. Also, if it is the lights and nature reflecting, it fills in the artistic quest of a being in the best possible manner
.
Next, I guess is Photographs one of the important kinds considerably because it lets you win over the memories. We all have at least one person in life with whom we have lots of memories to cherish but now either we are not in contact or the person is off to the biggest party house of the universe. To be honest we might not even regret the lost touch but if you do not have a picture you regret it high time that something feels terribly missing.

Then comes the shadows during the day, during the nights...it haunts, it follows, it changes shapes hate it or like it...it is there with us always. Generally favourites of soul searchers.

Now the last one is my personal favorite. I am a big time liar about my feelings and expressions and please don't get me wrong as most of the lies are to my own self. But, I have seen the most realistic of my expressions while binge-watching something on the screen. The moment scene changes and screen goes dark for a fraction of seconds you can see your reflection there it is the real me. I have seen it all the faith, scary, childish, innocence, furious, love, happy, powerful, hilarious, sad and teary. To me, it works like an old-school charm. Practically it was today's show and respective expressions that inspired me to write down this piece.

Must read if you are going through Depression !!

  • Can you stare at a ceiling forever with tears washing away your face and soul ??? If petty things and thoughts make you angry like a demon ??? Instead of some "me time" to yourself, you prefer staying alone most of the time ??? If answers to the questions are yes, no matter what people say trust me you are in a depression.
  • It comes in phases and the first phase itself is a deadly combination of irritation and anxiety. You must have felt the tension building up your chest and throat which might have wanted you to scream and roar and then subsequently cry for long hours. Later on, you thought its over and everything is back to normal but all in vain; After a certain week or so here you are again feeling all low, sad, frustrated, angry and humiliated. Worst part we have no idea why. Oops sorry Did I just say we..ok who am I kidding......obviously I have been through all of this and alone.
  • We were advised by our genuine well-wishers to get up---to socialize---take part in activities---go for higher studies---fall in love---at times even to get married---go for walks----meditate---drink water and stuff because depression for them is practically another word for sadness.
  • All this while you were thinking maybe they are right and perhaps it is a part of life and you are upset coz of whatever reasons...like you chose a wrong field or you chose a wrong person or you don't have enough friends or you are way behind your dreams or you had a break up or you are running out of luck or everything put together. So you decide to follow the advises and of course felt better for a while then you fell apart again. This time with higher burden and guilt and a feeling of I am good for nothing coming unknowingly to the next stage of depression. No matter how kind-hearted, well mannered or one of a scholar person you used to be... you are going to be hated, looked down upon with pity, sympathy, regret !!! All because of a sudden change and inconsistency in your behavior. Even those advises and recommendations are going to stop coming to you now. Only people to get you would be your parents and very close friends that too if you are lucky enough. But if your stage worsens you could be labeled to be lazy duckling, spoilt brat and what not...we know it well..right???
  • There we enter into the last stage. After a lot of self-analysis and shattered image of ourselves, we now realize "it's not me it is the depression talking ". But what next ??? You are haunted with questions like is it a mental problem..is it an illness..what if I never come out of this thing..what if nobody understands me ever the fact is they already don't soo question pops up...should I end my miserable life.........wait and stop I need you to know people do love you they do understand you but unfortunately they do not know what exactly depression is. It is like those ghosts and spirit movies where nobody in this scientific world will agree with you unless they see and experience for themselves.
  • Best way to get healed is by observing people in a rational manner because when you will closely observe the lives of others it will make you realize that nobody has a perfect life, speak to the masters of their respective fields most of them will tell you they had all together dreamt of something different. Some of the greatest people have received success really late but best part they never stopped struggling. Learn to know your priorities. Keep away negative people and to do that first find out who those are, as they might be right beside you playing with your brains but you failed to recognize. Trust me everybody looking happy and perfect on social media aren't its just their way to keep away the sadness from building in. You need to work on something you like and if you don't have enough time and sources to do that cut out time and expenses from something less useful. In my case, it was the combination of reading books, creating paintings, traveling, watching the news because it makes you aware of the reality. Also, I am still struggling but I am not ready to give up..... it is extremely important to tell your self that I am not a loser instead I am one sounded minded person who will struggle but will not give up or as we say in Hindi I am that one ' dheet ' person who never gave up and never will. Strengthen your mind and soul and tell them you have got their back and everything is under control. After all, it's your beautiful life that God gave you as a gift why to spoil it coz of some guy called depression.
  • One request please share this article if you feel it was worth reading or even a little helpful. You might make life easy for somebody.
